Dhaka, Aug. 4 -- A woman was allegedly gang-raped in front of her husband in Moslempur village of Bheramara Upazila, Kushtia.
The traumatic incident took place on Saturday at around 11pm in a lychee orchard located beside the Kushtia-Ishwardi Highway. Police have arrested five people in this connection.
Bheramara Police Station Police Inspector (OC Investigation) Rakibul Islam confirmed the matter to the media saying that police launched an immediate operation and arrested five suspected individuals.
