Dhaka, Oct. 7 -- International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) expressed concerns over the enforced disappearances and silencing the dissent voices under the previous Bangladesh administration. President of the FIDH Alice Mogwe said this while meeting with the Chief Adviser on Monday at the Guest House Jamuna on Monday.
She also commended the Interim Government, led by Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, for its commitment to upholding human rights and democratic principles.
The two leaders held a wide-ranging discussion on the human rights situation in Bangladesh and across the globe, Chief Adviser's Press Wing said.
