Dhaka, Nov. 29 -- Selim Haider, one of the founding members and guitarist of the popular band Feedback, has passed away.

He breathed his last at around 10:00pm on November 27, while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital.

Feedback confirmed his death through a post on social media yesterday.

It was learned that Selim Haider had been suffering from cancer and several other health complications.

Foad Nasser Babu, another founding member of Feedback, said that his funeral prayer was held on Friday after Jumu'ah at the Hatirpool Pukurpar Jame Mosque in the capital.

Before forming Feedback, Selim Haider's first band was 'Sannyasi', where renowned singer Sheikh Ishtiaq was the vocalist.
