Dhaka, May 1 -- Following the fall of the Awami League government, 15 former directors of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have left the country. While some have formally resigned, others lost their positions after being absent from three consecutive board meetings. As a result, the current BCB is operating with only 10 active directors.
The next BCB election is scheduled to take place in October. According to regulations, the current president can call the election up to a month and a half before the end of his term.
