Dhaka, April 30 -- A transformative project titled "Feminism: Action and Mobilisation for Inclusive Economy (FAME)" has been officially launched in Bangladesh, aiming to empower over 2,000 women and bolster grassroots civil society organizations (CSOs) across the country.
The initiative, supported by the French government, reflects France's commitment to feminist diplomacy. With a total budget of €10 million, the project will run from 2024 to 2027 across ten countries, including Bangladesh.
In Bangladesh, the FAME project will channel support through three grant windows to promote economic inclusion, gender equality, and social justice.
