Dhaka, Feb. 10 -- Under the noble initiative of the Fahim Al Chowdhury Trust, around 600 meritorious students of 200 educational institutions from Zakiganj and Kanaighat were awarded scholarships at a colorful ceremony held on Saturday at Moulovi Sair Ali High School in Parchak, Zakiganj Sylhet. A total of 2, 081 meritorious students participated in the scholarship examinations held on December 15 and 17 last year. These high-achieving students, from grades five through eight, earned their awards through a competitive selection process. Based on their performance, 593 students qualified for scholarships across three grade levels.
