Dhaka, Jan. 27 -- Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni called for expansion of science based education to create skilled workforce for building an economically prosperous Bangladesh.
"We are taking steps to attract the students for continuation of their studies on science to foster economic progress of the country," she said this on Friday while speaking at the inaugural function of the ninth Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad-2018 at the Curzon Hall of Dhaka University, a press release said.
President of Dhaka University Alumni Association AK Azad and General Secretary of Bangladesh Chemistry Association Dr Md Aftab Ali Sheikh, among others, addressed the function with President of the association Md Abdul Karim in the chair.
