Dhaka, Nov. 14 -- The court has postponed the arrest hearing of former Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Dr. Selina Hayat Ivy in five cases, including four murder cases related to the anti-discrimination student movement. The hearing was scheduled for Thursday , but it was delayed due to the "lockdown" program called by the now-banned political party, the Awami League.

Inspector Kaiyum Khan of Narayanganj Court Police confirmed the matter, saying that due to the tense situation created by the lockdown and for security reasons, it was not possible to bring the accused to court.
