Police have been arrested Awami League (AL) leader, former MP of Kishoreganj-5 (Bajitpur - Nikli) constituency and Managing Director of Afzal Shoes Company, Afzal Hossain from Meherpur town on early Monday.
He was arrested from a house at Taher Clinicpara in Meherpur town .Additional SP of Kishoreganj Monotosh Biswas confirmed the matter.He also said that, a team of Kishoreganj District Police has left for Meherpur to bring former MP Afzal Hossain.
Meherpur, district police said that influential Awami League leader, also ex-MP Afzal Hossain had been on the run since the fall of the government on August 5.
