Dhaka, Sept. 17 -- Former Law Minister Anisul Haque has been shown arrested in connection with an attempted murder case filed over the alleged attack on Hadis Mia during the July Movement in the capital's Mirpur area.
Meanwhile, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate MA Mizbah Ur Rahman also approved a two-day remand for Saddam Hossain Pavel, former lawmaker from Nilphamari-3 and Central Relief and Social Welfare Affairs Secretary of Jubo League.
He is accused in a separate attempted murder case involving Md. Majedul Islam under New Market Police Station.
The court issued both orders on Tuesday after reviewing applications submitted by the police.
