Dhaka, Nov. 30 -- Former General Secretary of Jahangirnagar University Journalists' Association (JUJA) Syed Abdal Ahmed has been honoured in the above-60 category for investigative journalism by the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU).
JUJA President Mehedi Mamun and General Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun congratulated him on the achievement. The honour bestowed upon such an experienced journalist would inspire media professionals in fulfilling their duties with integrity, said a congratulatory message signed by JUJA's Office and Publication Secretary Mah Alam on Friday.
This recognition adds a new dimension to his illustrious career and also carries significance for campus journalists across the country, it added.
