Bangladesh, Jan. 25 -- A four-member delegation led by the Ambassador of the European Union to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Michael Miller, visited Chattogram Port on Thursday.
After arriving at Chattogram Port, the delegation met with Rear Admiral S. M. Moniruzzaman, OSP, NDC, NCC, PSC, Chairman of Chattogram Port Authority (CPA), in a courtesy call.
The Honorable Chairman welcomed the Honorable Ambassador of the European Union and his delegation to Chattogram Port. He briefed the delegation on the recent handling record of Chattogram Port, reduction in ship turnaround time, reduction in duel time, recruitment of foreign operators at Pangaon ICT and Laldia Container Terminal, use of green technology in Bay Terminal and Matarbari Port Development...
