Dhaka, Nov. 8 -- Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan has stressed the need for establishing a network and partnership with different academic and research institutions across the world to upgrade academic and research activities.
The issues were discussed when non-resident Ambassador of Ireland to Bangladesh Kevin Kelly and first Police Ombudsman in Northern Ireland Baroness Nuala O'Loan called on the Vice-Chancellor at the latter's university office on Thursday afternoon.
Chairman of the Department of Botany Prof Dr Ashfaque Ahmed, Prof Dr Mohammad Zashim Uddin, Prof Dr Mohammad Almujadde Alfasane and Prof Dr Muhammad Mezbah-ul-Islam were, among others, present on this occasion, reports UNB.
