Dhaka, March 30 -- Security measures in Dhaka have been further strengthened ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr to ensure a safe and festive environment for city residents. Law enforcement agencies have taken special precautions to allowpeople to celebrate Eid without disruption, according to Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) Chief Rezaul Karim Mallik.

Speaking at a press conference at the DMP Media Centre on Saturday (29 March), the DB Chief stated that police operations across the capital have been intensified in preparation for Eid.
