Dhaka, May 24 -- A transport mechanic named Md. Shaheen (26) was shot dead in public in the Bank Colony area of Savar. A man named Mehedi Hasan (50) was arrested in a raid in this incident. It is alleged that Mehedi Hasan had shot and killed a man named Abdur Rashid in the head earlier.Savar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector Motasim Billah confirmed the arrest on Friday (May 23) morning.
