Dhaka, April 28 -- Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, Adviser to the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, issued an official directive on Sunday, requiring immediate public announcements for any disruptions in electricity, metro rail, road, or railway services.
The directive follows incidents on Saturday, where metro rail operations were temporarily halted, and a power outage affected the Khulna region.
According to the directive, the heads of the relevant ministries or agencies failed to inform the adviser about these disruptions, with the information coming to light only through social media.
