Dhaka, May 1 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has remarked that continuing unconditional support for the interim government indefinitely is not justifiable. He made the statement on Thursday during a workers' rally organized by the Nationalist Workers Party in Nayapaltan, Dhaka, in observance of International Workers' Day.

"In the pursuit of a democratic and accountable government, free from fascist influence, the BNP and other democratic parties have extended unconditional support to the interim government," Rahman said.
