India, Jan. 5 -- A woman named Anwara Begum (65) died after being burned when her clothes caught fire while she was warming herself in the kitchen due to severe cold in Fatullah, Narayanganj.
She passed away on Sunday while undergoing treatment at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Earlier, on Saturday (January 3) afternoon, Anwara Begum was sitting in front of the stove in the kitchen to warm herself when her clothes accidentally caught fire.
Her elder son, Anwar Hossain, rescued her and took her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital's burn unit, where she was admitted for treatment.
