Dhaka, June 20 -- The election fever has started gripping the country gradually following the recent successful London meeting between Chief Advisor Professor Dr Mohammad Yunus and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, removing uncertainty over holding of the upcoming parliamentary polls.

After the meeting of the two leaders, the EC has sat several times to discuss the issue and take necessary preparations in this regard.

The landmark meeting was held at the Dorchester Hotel in London at 2pm, Bangladesh time, on June 13.
