Dhaka, April 29 -- The groundwater level in Narayanganj is steadily declining, raising concerns among environmentalists about increased earthquake risks and broader environmental damage. According to the Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), water pumps are increasingly failing as they can no longer reach the groundwater.
