Dhaka, Sept. 1 -- The High Court has ordered the postponement of the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections. The elections have been postponed until October 30.
The High Court issued this order on Monday (September 1).
Earlier, the schedule for DUCSU elections was announced. According to the schedule, voting for DUCSU and Hall elections is scheduled to be held on September 9. This time, a total of 471 candidates are contesting against 28 DUCSU posts. Out of these, 62 are female candidates. And the highest number of 217 candidates are contesting for the membership post. And a total of 1,035 candidates will contest for 13 posts in 18 halls.
