Dhaka, May 27 -- The University of Dhaka has decided to provide special privileges in undergraduate admissions for the 2024-2025 academic year to family members of those killed or injured during the July Uprising.
According to a press release issued yesterday (Monday) by the university's Public Relations Office, the decision was made at a Deans' Committee meeting held on May 5, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor.
The release states that the special admission privileges will apply to family members of individuals officially listed as martyrs or injured in the July-August 2023 student and mass uprising.
