Dhaka, March 24 -- The Dhaka University authorities have taken elaborate progrmme on the occasion of the Great Independence and National Day on 26th March.DU Public Relations Office issued a press release in this regard on Sunday.
The programmes include discussion meeting on 25 March, laying wreaths at the national memorial, special prayers, illumination of important buildings and establishments.
The national flag will be hoisted at all central academic buildings and residential halls of the university at 6 am.
Teachers, students, officials, staff, and alumni will gather at Smriti Chirantan Square at 6 an and then at 6:15 am under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor they will proceed towards the national memorial, where they will lay w...
