Dhaka, May 13 -- The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will remain open on the next two Saturdays - 17 and 24 May - following a government directive to keep offices operational on weekends in the lead-up to the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.

In a notice published on its website today (12 May), the DSE announced that both trading and official activities would operate according to the regular weekday schedule on those dates, despite Saturdays being designated as weekly holidays.

Meanwhile, the stock market is scheduled for a 10-day closure from 5 to 14 June in observance of Eid-ul-Adha, in line with the government's declaration of public holidays on 11 and 12 June.
