Dhaka, Jan. 27 -- The US State Department has quietly confirmed the departure of Donald Lu, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, as his term concluded on January 17, 2025.

The US State Department confirmed that his term ended, as per their official website.

Donald Lu assumed the position on September 15, 2021, during President Joe Biden's administration, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in the US government.
