Dhaka, Oct. 30 -- Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) detective branch (DB) have arrested five more Awami League leaders and activists on charges of staging flash marches at different areas of the city as part of its continued drives against the now disbanded party. "They are arrested in drives carried out in the past 24 hours at different parts of the city as they staged flash marches," a DMP official familiar with the development said.

A DMP statement said former mayor of suburban Kaliganj and upazila unit president of Awami League M Robin Hossain were among those who were arrested during the time, reports BSS.
