Dhaka, Feb. 27 -- To address daily traffic congestions in the Rampura area of Dhaka, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has announced a nine-day implementation of one-way traffic at Abul Hotel crossing, Medina Hotel crossing, Malibagh level crossing, and Khilgaon Community Center crossing.

According to a public notice signed by DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali on Wednesday, this decision has been made to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce public inconvenience.

The notice states that vehicles travelling from Abul Hotel crossing will enter both lanes and proceed eastward through Medina Hotel crossing to Khilgaon Community Center crossing, without allowing vehicles to travel westward on this stretch.
