Dhaka, Feb. 3 -- Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has said those who distribute Awami League (AL) leaflets will be arrested.
He made these remarks on Monday evening at a briefing held at the city's Foreign Service.
The press secretary said, "Our strict message is that those who carry out programmes in support of the fallen government will not be spared. The writings on Awami League's leaflets are highly objectionable. Therefore, those distributing these leaflets will be arrested."
He also addressed allegations made by the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council, accusing them of spreading false information and propaganda about the persecution of minorities following August 5.
