Dhaka, Sept. 26 -- The closing ceremony of the "Disaster Management Exercise (DMX) 4.0" was held on Thursday at Bijoy Auditorium of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The event titled "Earthquake in Bangladesh: Strengthening UrbanPreparedness" was organised by the Department of Disaster Management and Resilience (DMR), says a press release.
The two-day exercise was designed to raise awareness about how to strengthen urbanpreparedness against earthquakes through proper use of structural and non-structural methods.
