Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- Dipu Dewan of Bangladesh won two gold medals in International Judo Competition, which was held at Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan. The competition was held from February 10 to February 14. This is for the first time a Bangladesh Judoka clinched gold medal in any international judo meet. Dipu Dewan captured gold in +66 kg weight category of individual event and claimed another gold in +66 kg weight category of team event. General Secretary of Bangladesh Judo Federation Kamrun Nahar Hiru said, " Dipu Dewan wrote history in country's judo history. This is for the first time a judoka clinched gold in international arena."
