Dhaka, July 10 -- A woman has filed a case in a Dhaka court against film actor and producer Monowar Hossain Dipjol and two others for allegedly throwing acid and beating her.

Dipjol said on social media on Tuesday that the woman's allegations were false. The case was filed with the intention of harassment.

This time the actor called the woman's accusation unreasonable.

On the other hand, Rumana Islam Mukti, an executive member of the Film Artistes' Association, took Dipjol's side, and called for an end to baseless allegations and harassment of artistes.
