Dhaka, April 16 -- Bangladesh has officially signed the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Labour Centre Statute, marking a significant step toward enhancing labour rights and welfare in the country.
The signing ceremony took place on April 13 at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah, where Brigadier General (Rtd.) Dr. M Sakhawat Hussain, Adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, signed the Statute on behalf of the Government of Bangladesh.
