Dhaka, April 5 -- Bangladesh Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has sought Sri Lanka's support for bringing back siphoned money.
Dr. Yunus sought this support while meeting with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harinia Amarasuriya on Friday on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok.
During their discussion, the two leaders explored issues of mutual interest and expressed their commitment to enhancing trade and cooperation between their respective nations.
Prime Minister Amarasuriya highlighted Sri Lanka's ongoing efforts to recover misappropriated funds, noting that the country's parliament had recently passed a new law to accelerate the recovery process.
