Dhaka, July 16 -- Dhaka, Bangladesh's crowded capital city was at 15th place this morning (July 15, 2025) in terms of having the worst air quality with an Air Quality Index (AQI) value of 88 at 9:40 am. This means that the air is "moderate" and poses only a minor health risk to most people. Sensitive groups should limit extended time outdoors when the AQI is between 50 and 100.
The cities with the worst air today are Kinshasa (DR Congo) at an AQI of 195, Hanoi (Vietnam) at 170, and Santiago (Chile) at 163, all having poorer air than Dhaka, reports UNB.
