Dhaka, Oct. 5 -- Bangladesh has reaffirmed its commitment to closer maritime cooperation with small island nations, highlighting shared priorities on economic growth, security, and climate resilience. A special programme was hosted at the Bangladesh High Commission in London by Abida Islam, Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK and Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The event brought together High Commissioners and Ambassadors from the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) group.
