Dhaka, Sept. 11 -- Bangladesh has sharply condemned Israel's airstrike on the Qatari capital, Doha, describing it as a blatant violation of sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Government of Bangladesh "unequivocally condemns the recent Israeli military aggression against the State of Qatar," calling it both unlawful and unprovoked.

Dhaka reaffirmed what it called its "steadfast solidarity" with the Government and people of Qatar, stressing that Israel's actions undermine regional stability, international peace, and global efforts to uphold the rule of law.
