Dhaka, May 28 -- Six-time champions Dhaka Abahani Limited finished runners up in the 10-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating Brothers Union Club 3-0 at Martyr Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla on Tuesday.
Local defender Asaduzzaman Bablu scored the first goal for the sky- blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani in the 24th minute (1-0), Brazilian midfielder Raphael Augusto doubled the margin in the 51st minute (2-0) while local forward Mirajul Islam sealed the fate of the match scoring the 3rd goal for Abahani in the 86th minute (3-0).
