Dhaka, Nov. 10 -- The government has issued a notification appointing new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in 15 districts.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued the notification on Saturday night transferring 6 DCs to other districts and assigning 9 officers of the rank of Deputy Secretary as DCs in 9 districts, reports BSS.

Sylhet Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer Sandwip Kumar Singha has been appointed as DC of Barguna; while Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) Secretary (Deputy Secretary) Md Aminul Islam as the DC of Sirajganj, Personal Secretary to the Commerce Adviser Md Abdullah Al Mahmud as the DC of Magura, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Abu Sayeed as the DC of Pirojpur; Zonal Settlemen...
