Dhaka, May 22 -- The Director General of the National Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection, Mohammad Alim Akhtar Khan, has commented that the Consumer Rights Act needs to be reformed. He made this comment as the chief guest at a seminar titled Consumer Rights Act at the Alampur Sylhet Divisional Commissioner Building in Sylhet on Thursday (May 22) afternoon.

The Director General also said that efforts should be made to provide consumer services to the people collectively. The people are dissatisfied with the Consumer Affairs Department for not getting the services.
