Dhaka, May 15 -- Dengue cases have surged in Sylhet, with 4 new cases reported in just the past 24 hours. In total, 6 dengue patients are currently undergoing treatment in various government and private hospitals in the Sylhet division. However, sources confirmed that all of them are in stable condition.

According to the Sylhet Divisional Office of the Directorate General of Health, a total of 16 dengue cases have been recorded in Sylhet division so far this year.

Of these, 5 are from Sylhet district, 3 from Moulvibazar, 5 from Habiganj, and 1 from Sunamganj. Notably, there have been no reported deaths from dengue in the division this season.
