Dhaka, Aug. 5 -- The initial proposal to reduce one of the four constituencies in Bagerhat district in the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections has created intense anger among the general public, students, teachers, intellectuals, conscious citizens and political figures.

In continuation of this, Bagerhat district BNP, Jubo Dal, Jamaat Islami, Jatiya Nagorik Party, Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Khelafate Majlis and almost every political party in the district participated in protest marches and meetings. The protest march started from Dashani intersection in Bagerhat at 11 am on Saturday and ended with a road meeting in front of D C's Court.
