Dhaka, May 16 -- The ceremony for presenting the credentials of Bangladesh's High Commissioner (HC) to India, Riaz Hamidullah, has been postponed by New Delhi.

According to the previously scheduled plan, Bangladesh High Commissioner Riaz Hamidullah was supposed to formally present his credentials to Indian President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday.

"Just three hours before the pre-scheduled time, India's Ministry of External Affairs informed the Bangladesh High Commission of the decision," a source at the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi confirmed the information to The New Nation.
