Dhaka, May 11 -- A deer rescued from a locality in Sharankhola Upazila unde Bagerhat district was released in the Sundarbans on Friday afternoon. Members of the Wild Team rescued the deer from a garden in Bakultala village of the upazila on Friday.According to the forest department sources, on Friday, locals saw a baby deer in the garden belonging to Mozammel Hossain Hawladar, former UP Chairman of Bakultala village under the Upazila. On receiving information from locals, Md. Alam Howlader, the team leader of Sharankhola of the Wild Team, an organization working with wildlife, and Md. Hasan Munshi, a member of VTRT, went to the spot and rescued the deer.
