Dhaka, March 2 -- With the aim of fulfilling the dreams of the people, the new political party of the youth 'National Citizens Party' (Jatiya Nagrik Party) made its debut on Friday.
The names of the nominees for the top positions of the party were announced in the presence of lakhs of people on Manik Mia Avenue in capital Dhaka.
The new party is led by the students who originally led the July uprising. The 151-member committee of this new youth political party has been announced with Nahid Islam as its convener and Akhtar Hossain as member secretary.
