Dhaka, July 27 -- The death toll from the tragic military aircraft crash at Milestone School and College in Dhaka's Uttara has climbed to 35, following the deaths of two more victims at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Saturday.
The latest casualty was identified as 38-year-old Masuma, who had sustained 90 percent burn injuries in the incident. She passed away around 10:30am, confirmed Dr Shaon Bin Rahman, Resident Surgeon of the institute.
Earlier in the morning, 13-year-old Zarif, who had suffered 40 percent burns, also succumbed to his injuries at approximately 9:10am, Dr Shaon added.
With these deaths, the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery has now recorded 16 fatalities linked to the crash.
