Dhaka, Sept. 25 -- The government has once again extended the timeframe for the six-member review committee, headed by Law Adviser Asif Nazrul, to submit its recommendations on the progress of the 2016 Bangladesh Bank reserve theft investigation.
According to a Cabinet Division notification issued on Tuesday, the deadline has now been pushed back to 31 October.
The Asif Nazrul-led body was constituted on 11 March to examine issues related to the reserve heist. At the time of its formation, the committee was asked to submit its report within three months. The deadline was later extended to 30 September, and has now been revised once more.
