Dhaka, March 29 -- Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus has issued 12 directives to the Deputy Commissioners (DCs), highlighting the importance of providing citizen services without hassle.

On Friday (28 March), the Cabinet Division forwarded these directives to the DCs through an official letter. The letter instructed that all public services-such as the issuance of birth certificates, national ID cards, passports, and land registration-must be delivered in a corruption-free and harassment-free environment. It also emphasised that DCs should carry out their responsibilities without fear or intimidation.
