Dhaka, Dec. 26 -- Chattogram Abahani Limited moved into the quarterfinals of the Walton Federation Cup Football beating Rahmatganj MFS by a solitary goal in their Group-C match at the country's prime venue Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
Chattogram Abahani's Brazilian recruit Nixon Guylherme scored the all-important goal in the 37th minute of the play.
Chattogram Abahani Limited showed a better brand of soccer against their Old Dhaka-based out-fit. So, Abahani earned the victory as they expected it.
Earlier, Rahmatganj MFS suffered a 0-3 goals defeat to Bashundhara Kings in their first match at the same venue on December 22.
