Dhaka, Feb. 4 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has said it could not locate any office of the Centre for Research and Information (CRI) - the research organisation of Awami League (AL) - in Dhanmondi.
An ACC team conducted a search operation at Dhanmondi 32 and Dhanmondi 6/A on Tuesday at around 1pm, but did not find any existence of an office at either location, said ACC Assistant Director Md Raju Ahmed in a press briefing on Tuesday afternoon.
He said, "The operation aimed to verify whether CRI spends state money for the institutional activities or for anti-state activities. We searched multiple locations in Dhanmondi but did not find the CRI office.
