Dhaka, May 5 -- Chattagram Port Authority (CPA) has resumed the operational activities of its own-funded export-oriented container scanner. This initiative of the port will play an important role in ensuring the security of international trade as part of the implementation of the ISPS Code. The container scanner was installed in February 2024 with the port's own funds. This high-quality fixed scanner, supplied by Five R Associates Limited, was being operated by the Chattagram Custom House.
